The Sims 3

June 29th, 2009 by Daelin

I just bought the new game The Sims 3 and I am really impressed with it. The artificial intelligence is amazing, even though the graphics aren´t that great.

But I understand that they should do a light game so everyone could play even if your computer is not the top of the top.

I was playing last night and I think they thought about every detail, like the food plates, the room decoration, the bathroom with a place to put a candle on.

It is great and my computer runs smoothly even if it is not the best computer in the world.

Old and new videogames

March 2nd, 2009 by Daelin

I remember a few years ago… Ok, more than just a few years ago. Let´s say decades ago. When I first saw a videogame. It was an Atari console and I wasn´t excited about it at all.

I saw it as a game for boys, and it surely was a game designed for boys. Years passed and now things are so different. Girls and even grown women like to play videogames nowadays.

There are many consoles out there. Some of them, like Wii, are so fun to be played. You can find wii accessories that makes it look anything but a videogame.

For instance, you can learn to dance, practice exercises, and many other fun things with Wii. I am planing buying one of those for my nephew (and for myself, of course). Just don´t tell anyone…

Old games

When I was younger, and I am not going to say how much younger, I used to play those Atari games. I didn´t have one. Usually I played at my friend´s house. I remember that I loved to play the games.

I guess a child nowadays will not be happy playing them because they are so used to play PS2 or even PS3 consoles. But I think that in a few years even those so great PS3 games will look as an Atari looks right now. Maybe our grandsons will laugh at us for being so jelous about our PS3 (or even 9???) games.

Or maybe in a few years children will stop playing elletronic games and resume riding bikes.

Digital cameras

September 7th, 2008 by Daelin

Some years ago I bought a digital camera. My first one, actually. It was a Kodak. It worked really well and I took lots and lots of pictures with it.

Then I decided to upgrade to a Nikon. As you see I like Japanese stuff. Again it is a great camera. My mother wants me to buy her a camera with extra lens so she can take better pictures. I don´t understand that.

I am happy with my 5 megapixels camera and I don´t understand why people want 10 megapixel cameras. It is useless. Unless you are going to make a banner with your pictures you don´t need more than 5 mpx.

As for extra lens, you need to study photography to use those cameras. I am trying to convince my mother of that.

I-Phone or I-Touch

February 22nd, 2008 by Daelin

I am hearing a lot about I-Phone and I-Touch this days. Which one to buy? What is better? At first I thought that I-Touch was better because its resolution is better and people say that the music is better on it.

But at the same time I think that an I-Phone could be better because I would use it not only to see movies and listen to music.

I could use it as a cell phone. I don´t know when I-Phone will arrive in my country and I really don´t know how much it will cost.

I am looking forward to have one of those. What do you think? Which one would you buy for yourself?
